Chunk Honey

Chunk Honey

Sorry, this item is out of stock
SKU: 302w
We make our chunk honey by cutting a chunk of comb honey from the beehives. We then place this chunk honey into a jar and pour either clover honey or wildflower honey over it. This is the way honey used to be sold years ago.

This picture shows the difference between clover chunk honey and wildflower chunk honey.

Comb honey comes off the hives in late summer, so if we are out of stock on comb honey and/or chunk honey, we will not have any until the next crop comes in late summer.

Farm Boy Who Knows

Where in the Devil do you get the name "chunk honey?" Liquid honey is obtained from decapping the honeycomb and draining the liquid honey. Comb honey is honey that remains in the comb. What uneducated person of sloppy, inaccurate terminology came up with the description "chunk honey?" Please stop using this ridiculous terminology!

Great

The same great taste as honey harvested and sold in rural Indiana where I was born. People dont know what they are missing by buying honey in a grocery chain.
