Raw Tupelo Honey comes from the white Ogeechee tupelo tree along the rivers of Florida & Georgia. Hives are often placed on boats to ensure bees are able to collect the rare nectar. Recent hurricanes have wiped out many of the tupelo trees and it will take a number of years before new growth trees can bloom.
Tupelo Honey is considered a gourmet, top of the shelf premium honey. Once you've tasted Tupleo Honey you'll know the taste, it's that unique and fantastic tasting.
